MELOTIA MILITIA is the Official Melotia Street Team. First of all, you should know that this is not a bullshit street team. The whole purpose of our street team is to help spread the word about our band. We run the team ourselves. So when you become a member, you deal directly with the band - not someone employed by the band. We are in search of true MELOTIA fans who honestly want to help us promote our music and let people know that we exist as a band. Having said that, street team membership is open to anyone. But before signing up, please read the tasks below. These are the minimum tasks you will be required to perform as an Official Street Team Member. STREET TEAM TASKS Send out emails and myspace bulletins to promote upcoming Melotia shows Post Melotia banners and flyers on your myspace/facebook pages Distribute physical posters & flyers in your area to promote upcoming Melotia shows Call local radio stations to request Melotia songs and to inform them of upcoming shows So what do you get out of it? We are a 100% DIY (Do It Yourself) band. We don't have a record label throwing money at us. Everything we do, we do ourselves. When we send you posters in the mail, we pay to have them printed and posted to you. Still, there are a few things we can do for you to show you that we sincerely appreciate your help. As a street team member, you will never pay to get into a MELOTIA show. And from time to time, we will be able to throw in some free goodies for you. On top of that, you will receive access to our Street Team Only website (team.melotia.com) where you will have access to Street Team exclusive videos, photos, music and more. We also have a Melotia Militia Myspace Street Team account (myspace.com/melotiamilitia). This account is strictly for Street Team Members Only.
