28-JAN-2010 2010 is definitely moving fast! January has been a blur. I’ve been in the studio with Melotia on and off since the second week of January. We are in the process of recording 4 new songs at Mid City Sound in Downtown LA. All the music is done and I will be recording vocals over the next couple of weeks. As soon as these songs are done we’ll be posting them at www.melotia.com and on our MySpace and Facebook pages. Over the next few months Melotia will be focusing on recording, writing and then recording more. Since Melotia has been in top gear for January, I haven’t had much time at all to work on any of my solo ventures thus far, but that is about to change. I’ll be setting things up next week to get started on drums for the next solo song to be recorded - Stand In Line. I’ve been working on getting the first video up on this site and hoping I can push that through next week. My heart goes out to the people of Haiti. Their tragedy is a devastating reminder of the fragility of human life and the overwhelming power of Mother Nature. Life is short. Make the most of it. Don’t waste a second. RD
