29-NOV-2009
Well, November is almost over and here we are heading into the last month of the year! Where did all that time go??? Who knows! Still, I feel like I've accomplished a lot in 2009 ... but it never feels like enough. My eyes are falling out of my face at the moment. So tired ... I finished the final tracks for Where Is Home on Saturday and was up late (or early, depending how you look at it) last night working on the mix. Three hours of sleep and here we are awake again. I'll probably be posting Where Is Home next week some time. So stay tuned for that. I'm really happy with how this one has turned out. I played a basic mix of the song to my good mate Mizzy last week and he thinks it is the best one yet. That's a good sign. I value his opinion...

The response to Leaving You has been awesome. I was interested to see what everyone had to say about that one and it appears to be a definite favorite for many of you. Thanks for the emails and kind words. It looks like more and more people are hearing about my solo music through word-of-mouth. The mailing list is growing and the song downloads are increasing every time I release a new track. If you're reading this and haven't downloaded Leaving You yet, you can do so by clicking here ... Get it while you can. It will no longer be available for FREE download when Where Is Home is released!

Moving right along ... The Book ... I was initially aiming to get The Train Chronicles published by November this year. Unfortunately I've had to push it back to January next year. Between my Melotia duties and the solo recordings (not to mention three weeks overseas) I just haven't had the time to stay on top of it. As soon as Where Is Home is released I will be refocusing for a week on getting the final draft through the door and the book should go to print by the middle of December. I'm not expecting it to make the New York Times Best Seller list, but I've been quite surprised by the level of interest out there. So keep your eyes peeled for the release date in January.

Last but not least, you can expect the first video to appear on my website in a few weeks time. Since June of this year I've been filming bits and pieces of my recording sessions and I'm in the process of putting together a short video to give you an inside look into my strange little world.

And that would be about it for now. Thanks for reading...
