10-NOV-2009 Hello kids. The third song from Born From Bohemia has been completed and is now available for FREE download. Click the MUSIC tab to download it. The track is called Leaving You and is the most upbeat of the songs I've recorded so far. You can read the lyrics and notes on the song on the Born From Bohemia page. As I'm writing this I am in the process of recording song #4 ... a song called Where Is Home. For those of you who came in late, here's the deal. I'm recording an album of solo material called Born From Bohemia. I am recording the album "one song at a time" and as each song is completed it will be uploaded to this website and to my MySpace page. The most recent song completed is available for FREE until the next song is completed. So as you're reading this Leaving You is available for FREE whilst the first two songs are no longer available for download. Pretty simple really. All I ask in return for my music is your email address so I can email you when a new song is finished. The response to all of this has been quite a surprise. I'm getting regular emails from people anxious for the next song! Pretty cool. I'm hoping to get two more songs finished before the end of the year. At that point I will be halfway. The album will most likely be comprised of 10 songs in total, but don't hold me to that. It could be more. I just finished the drums for the next song ... a song called Where Is Home. Over the next few days I will be recording the guitar tracks for it. I will be using a nylon string classical guitar for the main guitar track on this one. That'll be a first for me. I don't think I've recorded myself playing a nylon string guitar since I was fourteen years old! The song calls for it so that's the main instrument for this one. That'd be it from me for now.
