We've been off the map for about a month so I thought I'd take a minute to write a few words. We wrapped up our shows for 2009 with a killer show at Key Club in Hollywood on Monday 28th September. Man, what a great way to finish the year! What a show! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us.

I just spent three weeks overseas, first visiting Singapore and then Australia. It was great to get away from the grind for a few weeks and visit with family and friends. The tanks are refuelled and I'm back in LA and ready to get back into it.

We've decided to take time off from playing live shows to focus on writing and recording new material. The obvious goal is to record a new full length album that will be released some time in 2010. For the next few months we will be focusing on writing new songs and recording them. Traditionally we have written an album worth of songs and subsequently recorded them. This time around we are planning to write 3-4 songs, record those and then repeat the process until we have something in the vicinity of 20 songs. We will be starting a new video series to document the process so standby for video updates.

We also have a few Melotia In Motion Webisodes from 2008 that have yet to be released for no other reason than we simply haven't had the time to put the finisihing touches on them. We will be getting thess online over the next few weeks.
