How are ya kids. I'm a little sleepy right now. I was up until the early hours of the morning designing new flyers for our upcoming shows. You might notice that the flyers feature new photos. We decided that the world needed more photos of Melotia so on Thursday night we had a few drinks and did a photo shoot. We'll be adding some of the photos to our website and MySpace pages soon. For now you can get a preview in the current flyers. Things have been pretty busy for us. Last weekend we had a show in Modesto at The Modesto Virtual on Sunday night. We had a great time as always. It was awesome to play with Park Lane and Dardanelle. Both bands killed it! The after party spilled over into a local bar (forgot the name) where shots and beers were in high demand. We didn't end up leaving the Modesto area until 4:00AM and didn't get back to LA until 9:30AM. The smart thing to do would have been to leave after we were done playing. But noooooo... we had to go out and party didn't we!!! John was the designated driver and I think it's safe to say we were all pretty exhausted by the time we got home. Still, good times and no regrets! Ok, so we have two shows coming up in August both of which are shaping up to be monstrous! Did I say monstrous??? HUGE!!!!! The fine folk of MoTown (aka, Modesto) have to put up with our loud shenanigans again, this time at Hero's on Saturday 1st August. Also playing that night are Coma Bloom and American Radio. It shall be a rock n roll extravaganza of which you would be foolish to miss! After Modesto it will be time to rock Hollywood once again for our second time this year. We will be delivering our noise at The Roxy on Thursday 6th August along side Bullets & Octane and Halestorm, both kickass bands. This is an ALL AGES show so bring your babies!!!
